1. Give as many details as possible! People aren't going to sign up to work on a project they know nothing about. Make sure you give a general concept, as well as some examples of already completed work so people can get a feel for the overall intended aesthetic of the mod. Share as much as you can! (Also, it's probably for the best that you're at least contributing something to your own mod. Unless you're a crazy good director or have an awesome concept, a director who doesn't actually contribute anything to their project tends to rub people the wrong way.) 2. Be polite! If you seem unenthused or standoffish, people might not want to work with you. People are naturally drawn to a director who seems kind, welcoming and understanding. Do your best to be that! 3. Make sure you're specific about how much work you need! People don't exactly like joining a project if they don't know how much work they're getting themselves into. I personally have been slapped in the face with way more work than I bargained for after joining projects, and it's not a good feeling at all. 4. Remember it's all in good fun! If you can't find someone immediately, it isn't the end of the world. Be patient! Or, alternatively, try picking things up yourself! This community has so many tutorials for just about anything, and it's a great space to start out doing something! (Just ignore the assholes that make fun of anything that isn't top quality, they just want to ruin your day to make themselves feel better lol) Don't be afraid to try something new! I'm a musician, but I'm personally trying to pick up basic art and animation just for the fun of it! With all of that said, best of luck to all of the prospective modders out there!
